MUC Stewardship Ministries – Mission Statement
To nurture, educate, and equip members of the Malawi Union Conference to live as faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to them—time, talents, treasures, body, and influence—through the teaching and practice of biblical stewardship principles, fostering spiritual growth, and encouraging a lifestyle of faithfulness, accountability, and joyful service, in preparation for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(1 Corinthians 4:2; Psalm 24:1; Matthew 25:14–23)
Vision Statement
To see a spiritually revived and mission-driven Malawi Union Conference, where every believer acknowledges God as the rightful Owner, lives responsibly as a trustworthy steward, and reflects the character of Christ through faithful resource management, systematic and generous giving, ethical living, and wholehearted commitment to God’s mission in the church and the wider community.
(Romans 12:1; Luke 16:10–12; Malachi 3:10)
Core Values
1. God’s Ownership

2. Biblical Faithfulness
We uphold faithfulness as the foundation of stewardship, expressed in obedience, trust, and consistency in all areas of life.
(1 Corinthians 4:2; Luke 16:10)
3. Holistic Stewardship
We promote stewardship that embraces the whole life—spiritual, physical, mental, social, and material.
(Romans 12:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:23)
4. Systematic and Generous Giving
We value systematic benevolence, returning tithe and giving offerings cheerfully in support of God’s work locally and globally.
(Malachi 3:8–10; 2 Corinthians 9:6–7)
5. Accountability and Integrity
We encourage ethical living, transparency, and accountability in personal and corporate stewardship.
(Luke 12:48; Proverbs 11:1)

We believe stewardship is a discipleship journey that deepens faith, strengthens character, and transforms lives.
(Matthew 6:21; Colossians 2:6–7)
7. Joyful Service and Sacrifice
We uphold stewardship as a response of love, gratitude, and joy, not compulsion.
(Psalm 100:2; 2 Corinthians 9:7)
8. Mission-Centered Living
We commit to using all entrusted resources to advance the gospel and fulfill the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
(Matthew 28:18–20; Revelation 14:6–12)
9. Preparation for Christ’s Return
We recognize stewardship as part of end-time readiness, shaping lives that are faithful, watchful, and mission-focused.
(Matthew 24:44–46; Luke 19:13)
